UK Regular Forces includes all trained and untrained personnel. Gurkhas, Full Time Reserve personnel, and mobilised reservists are excluded.
1.  Figures show intake to UK Regular Forces including re-enlistments and rejoined reservists but exclude movements between services.
2.  Includes trained entrants. Trained entrants are excluded from Tables 2.20 and 2.21.
Due to ongoing validation of data from the Joint Personnel Administration System, all Naval Service and Army flow statistics for financial year 06/07 and 07/08 and all RAF flow statistics for financial year 07/08 are provisional and subject to review.
